Tools of the Trade
-

Squarespace
No explanation needed. My entire business centers around this beautiful, easy-to-use website platform.
-

Canva
No design skills required! Style your website and create beautiful promotional graphics in just a few clicks.
-

Creative Market
My go-to for custom fonts, unique graphics, and templates when I’m low on inspiration or want to take a design to the level.
-

Moyo Studio
Molly and Mark have created a stunning collection of stock photography and mockups. I LOVE their designs!
-

Google Workspace
I use Google Drive to create and store all my files. I love that everything can be organized and shared with ease.
-

Notion
Notion is where I manage my operations. It holds my marketing content library, SOPS, KPI Scorecard, affiliate links, you name it!
-

Google Domains
I use Google domains because they are easy to use, affordable, and integrate with Squarespace seamlessly.
-

Loom
Loom is how I record videos. I love they are stored in the cloud, can be instantly shared with a link, and I can see when clients view them.
-

Quickbooks
Quickbooks make accounting easy. I tried it out once and it was a good experience so I stuck with it.
-

PayPal
I live in Scotland. 99% of my clients are in the US. PayPal makes it easy to send invoices and get paid instantly.
-

Adobe Suite
While I teach using Canva for ease, there are times where I’ll use Adobe for custom web design clients.
-

Figma
Figma is the tool I use to design and wireframe Squarespace websites including templates sold in store.

One last thing
Phew… and there we have it!
I like to keep things simple and believe the tools you invest in should work for you, not the other way round. Everything has a job and intentionally serves a purpose.
I spend a lot of time talking about resourcefulness rather than having a ton of resources. Taking nothing and turning it into something.
This is me practicing what I preach. ;)
